3.5 Manage Dispatch

Worker List > Manage Dispatch Manager or higher

Invite workers who belong to another organization or plant to your site’s TBMs.

  1. In the Worker List, select a plant and click the Manage Dispatch button.
  2. On the Dispatch Invite tab, search by the person’s email or phone number. (Search results are masked to protect personal information.)
    🚩 Note: search for an account registered as a SafetyDesigner member.
  3. Enter the start date (default: as soon as accepted) / end date (default: indefinite) / trade and work type / memo.
  4. Click Send Dispatch Invite. The dispatch starts once the person accepts it in the mobile app.
  5. Manage the status on the Dispatch Status tab:
    • Status: Pending / Accepted / Declined / Canceled / Expired
    • Pending → Cancel Invite available
    • Accepted → End Dispatch available

Don’t Confuse the Concepts

Dispatch ≠ external worker. Dispatch means “including a regular account from another organization in your TBM audience”, while an external worker is “a day laborer who participates with an access code and no account”. Dispatched people are marked with a purple “Dispatch” badge in the worker list and recipient list. Someone who is already on dispatch cannot be invited again.
