What to do for each location check failure message.
| On-screen message | Cause and fix |
|---|---|
| “Location permission is required. Please allow location access in Settings.” | The app’s location permission is denied. Allow location under your phone’s Settings > Apps > Permissions, then tap Retry. |
| “Cannot receive a GPS signal. Please try again outdoors.” | You are in a GPS dead zone such as indoors or underground. Move somewhere with open sky and try again. |
| “You are outside the site radius. (distance m / allowed m)” | Your current location is outside the site’s GPS radius. Move inside the site and tap Retry. If this keeps happening even though you are on site, ask the Admin to check the GPS pin and radius settings. |
| “You are outside the site boundary” | Location verification failed at the moment of submission. Same as above — try again from inside the site. |
Warning
If a location-spoofing (fake GPS) app is installed on your phone, the check may be rejected.
